Half a century young, Verreault has loomed large in the Quebec and Canadian maritime industries. Its uninterrupted success dates back to 1956 when Captain Borromée Verreault founded a dredging company at Les Méchins in the Gaspé. To meet local navigation needs, Captain Verreault committed his enterprise to his own personal valuesskill, dedication, and hard work.
These values have propelled the company forward ever since. For instance, the shipyard run by Verreault Navigation Inc., a member of Groupe Maritime Verreault Inc., is not only known throughout the world, but also considered the most productive yard in Eastern Canada today. Groupe Maritime Verreault Inc. was founded as a holding company in 1991 and includes Verreault Navigation Inc.
