THE CICERO AND THE GEORGES ALEXANDRE LEBEL RETURN TO VERREAULT NAVIGATION

The management and production at GROUPE MARITIME VERREAULT and VERREAULT NAVIGATION are pleased to have welcomed back a preferred customer to their ship repair facilities.

Following several years of absence from the VERREAULT dry dock, OCEANEX recently returned to Les Méchins for maintenance requirements on one of it's three ro/ro container ships, the 483 foot long Cicero.

The Cicero, which sails between Montréal, Québec and St. John's, Newfoundland, delivering consumer and industrial cargoes, arrived at the end of July for what amounted to roughly 3 weeks worth of inspections, maintenance, steel, and mechanical repairs.

In the wake of the Cicero's departure, the dry dock was occupied by yet another preferred and loyal client vessel, the Georges Alexandre Lebel. The COGÉMA rail ferry that operates between Matane and Baie-Comeau underwent rapid mechanical work over a relatively short 3 day period.

Of course, as with all of our preferred clients, OCEANEX and COGÉMA will be rewarded for their recent visits with allotments of V POINTS, allowing them to benefit from free service packages relating to vessel repairs and maintenance during the next three year period.

With several contracts already underway and a number of confirmations through to October already in place, the late summer / early autumn season is shaping up to be as busy as the spring and early summer seasons.
