To receive our NEWSLETTER click here April 28, 2003 A BUSY SPRING AT VERREAULT NAVIGATION The MILLENNIUM SHIPPING ltd. general cargo vessel Victoria Pride arrived at VERREAULT NAVIGATION inc. on Friday, April 11 for repairs following damages sustained during a collision in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Work on the Victoria Pride involved the removal and replacement of steel to the starbord side at the stern of the vessel. Three modules were constructed and installed rapidly and with ease in order to accomodate a departure date of April 24. Also at VERREAULT in dry dock are the SECUNDA MARINE SERVICES Ltd. offshore supply vessel Mariner Sea and the NAVIGATION MADELEINE Inc. passenger ferry CTMA Vacancier. The CTMA Vacancier is in dry dock for the installation of new aluminum bridgewings as well as a general inspection, mechanical repairs, sandblasting and painting. The bridgewings, which were constructed by VERREAULT NAVIGATION prior to the arrival of the vessel are now in the process of being skillfully installed. The CTMA Vacancier and Mariner Sea are expected to depart dry dock in early May in order to continue work in their respective trades.
